Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact combo and token swarm deck commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist. The strategy develops early mana through efficient mana rocks and cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor. Sai turns every subsequent artifact cast into a flying 1/1 Thopter token, creating an early defensive screen and a repeatable draw engine. The primary route to victory is assembling a three-card loop with Mystic Forge, Sensei's Divining Top, and an artifact cost reducer. This engine lets you draw your entire deck, generate an arbitrarily high storm count, and finish the table in a single turn using Aetherflux Reservoir or Psychosis Crawler. If the combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into an aggressive combat finish by animating its wide board of artifact tokens with Cyberdrive Awakener or The Antiquities War. A resilient interaction suite of cheap counterspells and graveyard recursion protects the engine and recovers key pieces.
