Gangs of New York

Format: Commander

Commander: Kathril, Aspect Warper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kathril is an Abzan legendary-deathtouch goodstuff commander. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap deathtouch legends, draw extra cards from legend payoffs (Reki, Vraska Joins Up, Toski), and convert deathtouch hits into poison via Fynn, infect via Triumph of the Hordes, or a one-shot Vorpal Sword. Kathril's chief job is to layer keyword counters and grow into a huge unblockable beater, but the deck lacks self-mill, so that role is a supplement rather than an engine. The closest hidden commander is Fynn, because many lines revolve around making Fynn or Fynn triggers the kill.
