Deck overview

This deck is an Esper reanimator list helmed by Raffine, Scheming Seer. The primary game plan is to use Raffine's connive ability to convert attacks into card selection and graveyard filling, binning high-impact creatures for later reanimation. Token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Dalkovan Packbeasts, and Wyrm's Crossing Patrol provide the multiple attackers needed to maximize Raffine's connive trigger. Payoffs include reanimation spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, Living Death, and Victimize that cheat out threats like Archon of Cruelty, Dream Trawler, or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse.
