Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact combo and stax engine led by Child of Alara. It uses fast mana artifacts and vintage lands like Mishra's Workshop to accelerate ahead of opponents. The deck deploys asymmetric tax and denial pieces, including Winter Orb, Static Orb, Cursed Totem, and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, which slow opposing development while artifact mana breaks parity. Its primary win condition is the Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal combo, which generates infinite mana and untaps to execute immediate kills via Planar Bridge, repeated loyalty activations with The Chain Veil, or a massive Debt to the Deathless. Backup win routes include the Thopter Foundry engine and the Karn, the Great Creator plus Mycosynth Lattice hard lock. Child of Alara serves as an emergency board wipe from the command zone when the board state needs a complete reset.
