Volatile Piru by BigSlam43

Format: Commander

Commander: Piru, the Volatile

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Mardu deck is a sacrifice-and-recursion shell that turns creature deaths into cards, life, and mana. Piru, the Volatile is a late-game flying lifelink threat and an asymmetrical reset button: paying its upkeep keeps a 7/7 attacker, while letting it die deals 7 damage to each nonlegendary creature and feeds the deck's death payoffs. No hidden commander is present; the listed face is the one the deck uses. Secondary paths come from indestructible damage converters (Stuffy Doll, Brash Taunter, Giggling Skitterspike) and Tajic as a fast beater. White mass-recursion instants, Athreos, and Nim Deathmantle recycle the board, making the deck a grindy, non-combo attrition engine.
