Deck overview

This Temur Dragon tribal deck is commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten, designed to ramp quickly into high-cost draconic threats and cheat them directly onto the battlefield. The early game focuses on mana acceleration and cost reduction via spells like Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Sarkhan, Soul Aflame. By Turn 5, the deck casts Ureni, immediately digging eight cards deep to drop game-altering Dragons such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Utvara Hellkite, Atarka, World Render, or Scourge of Valkas. Haste enablers like Dragon Tempest, Temur Ascendancy, and Rhythm of the Wild allow immediate attacks, doubling Ureni's trigger output in a single turn. While the deck possesses explosive combat damage and high resilience through redundancy, its high average mana curve and moderate interaction density make it vulnerable to timely board wipes and countermagic.
