Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow tempo-control build. The plan is to deploy cheap unblockable creatures, ninjutsu Yuriko in for a bargain {U}{B}, and convert every Ninja combat hit into card advantage plus table-wide life loss equal to the flipped card's mana value. A dense cantrip suite (Ponder, Preordain, Brainstorm, Opt, Serum Visions, Portent) plus delve spells (Treasure Cruise, Dig Through Time) keeps the engine fed, while three extra-turn spells (Temporal Trespass, Karn's Temporal Sundering, Nexus of Fate) chain multiple combats to accelerate the life-loss kill. The deck backs this with a heavy counterspell and bounce suite to protect Yuriko and clear blockers. It wins through incremental Yuriko triggers rather than any infinite combo, with Shadow of Mortality serving as the single biggest flip.
