Deck overview

This is a Golgari infect/toxic deck helmed by Honest Rutstein, whose ETB recursion and creature-cost reduction support a fair combat strategy. The primary game plan is to deploy small-to-medium infect and toxic creatures, chip in poison counters through combat, and accelerate the clock with proliferate effects. The deck lacks fast mana, infinite combos, or stack interaction, relying instead on incremental damage, a modest recursion suite, and a handful of pump spells to close out games. Honest Rutstein's cost reduction helps chain multiple creatures per turn, and his recursion keeps key threats returning from the graveyard. The win condition is purely poison-counter accumulation via combat, with no alternative lines.
