K'rrik by maggina

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black K'rrik deck turns life into mana to fuel a drain engine. K'rrik lets you pay 2 life for each {B} in black spells, grows with +1/+1 counters, and gains life back with lifelink. The main plan converts life gain into opponent loss with Sanguine Bond, Marauding Blight-Priest, Pontiff of Blight and Basilica Screecher extort, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, often after Repay in Kind sets everyone to the lowest life total. Bolas's Citadel extends turns by casting from the top for life. Backup graveyard loops use Necrotic Ooze copying Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar, or Chainer, Dementia Master recurring Gray Merchant with Viscera Seer and Blood Celebrant.
