Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Stompy and Midrange list led by Kaheera, the Orphanguard, built around a creature suite of Beasts, Dinosaurs, Elementals, and Cats. The game plan accelerates mana on early turns using land-grant spells, sets up power-based card draw engines, and curves into overwhelming creature threats. On Turn 6, the deck establishes critical onset by generating wide token swarms or deploying high-power beaters, threatening table elimination on Turn 7 through decisive overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth or Akroma's Will. The deck features efficient permanent removal such as Swords to Plowshares, Solitude, and Aura Shards, along with high-impact protection in Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention. Because Kaheera serves primarily as an anthem rather than an essential combo piece, the deck maintains full operational independence if its commander is removed.
