Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combo shell helmed by Hidetsugu and Kairi. The game plan hinges on casting the commander, using its enter-the-battlefield trigger to sculpt the top of the library, and then targeting it with one of roughly twenty clone effects. Due to the legend rule, the clone immediately dies, triggering a massive burn effect against an opponent and free-casting high-mana-value spells from exile. By loading the deck with devastating sorceries like Time Stretch, Temporal Trespass, Beacon of Tomorrows, and Mnemonic Deluge, the deck chains consecutive extra turns and recursive copies without paying mana. Backed by solid two-mana artifact acceleration and blue card filtering, the deck aggressively aims to assemble its loop on Turn 4 or 5 and close the game in a single uninterrupted chain of turns.
