Deck overview

This deck is a Jund attrition strategy built around -1/-1 counters, wither, and blight mechanics led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The primary game plan accelerates into Auntie Ool on Turn 3, followed by counter distributors like Sinister Gnarlbark, Bristlebane Battler, and Nest of Scarabs on Turn 4 to establish recurring card draw and token production. On Turn 5, high-impact pieces like Maha, Its Feathers Night, Kulrath Knight, or Carnifex Demon create an oppressive, one-sided creature lock and board clear. The deck converts this advantage into a win by Turn 7 through wide token swarms and life drain from Obelisk Spider, Mirkwood Bats, and Auntie Ool's passive life loss triggers. While vulnerable to noncreature combo strategies and mass enchantment wipes due to a lack of stack interaction, it excels at dismantling creature-centric tables through continuous asymmetric removal and card advantage.
