Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest commands a Golgari aristocrats and token aggro deck centered around Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider creatures. The deck leverages steady life gain triggers from creatures, spells, and dying Pest tokens to grow its typal board state with +1/+1 counters via Blech. Early turns focus on generating tokens through cards like Pest Infestation, Ophiomancer, and Blight Mound. As the board develops, the deck drains opponents using Dina, Soul Steeper, Blood Artist, and Defiling Daemogoth. The primary path to victory culminates in overwhelming combat damage propelled by Blossoming Bogbeast or Root Manipulation, converting accumulated life gain into lethal trampling attacks across the table.
