Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy built around Eris, Roar of the Storm. The early turns focus on cycling low-cost instants and sorceries across various mana values to discount Eris from ten mana down to just two. Once deployed on Turn 4, Eris rewards casting two spells each turn by generating 4/4 Dragon Elemental tokens with flying and prowess. Mana generators like Storm-Kiln Artist and Birgi, God of Storytelling enable explosive Turn 5 storm sequences, amplified by damage engines like Fiery Inscription and Dragon Tempest or storm finishers like Elemental Eruption and Mizzix's Mastery. A deep suite of efficient, low-mana countermagic and removal protects the engine and disrupts opponents, leading to a reliable table elimination on Turn 6.
