Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggressive token and tribal synergy deck commanded by Iroh, Tea Master. The strategy revolves around giving harmless permanents—such as Food tokens, low-cost Auras, and artifacts—to opponents. By doing so, Iroh's combat trigger creates increasingly large 1/1 Ally tokens with +1/+1 counters equal to the number of permanents you own under opposing control. These tall Ally tokens trigger potent Rally abilities across cards like Resolute Blademaster for double strike, Ondu Champion for trample, and Kabira Evangel for color protection. The list leverages token multipliers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and trigger copiers like Delney, Streetwise Lookout to rapidly build a lethal board state. While the deck possesses a resilient engine that quickly rebounds after wipes because donated gifts remain on opposing boards, it runs almost no interactive removal or stax pieces, making it an entirely proactive race toward combat damage.
