Deck overview

Parnesse, the Subtle Brush helms a punishing Grixis group slug deck designed to tax opponent actions and exploit spell duplication. Parnesse provides political protection by countering spells targeting your permanents unless opponents pay life, while sharing spell copies to turn opponents against one another. The primary game plan constricts the table with cumulative damage triggers from cards like Harsh Mentor, Orcish Bowmasters, and Painful Quandary. The deck closes games by accelerating opponent card draw into lethal burn using Forced Fruition, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Fate Unraveler, or by executing infinite spell copy loops with Magecraft payoffs like Professor Onyx.
