Doom Prevails by reaperking1990

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Grixis Villain-tribal deck uses discard and connive as an engine rather than a tempo loss. Doctor Doom, King of Latveria turns discarded lands into universal life loss and gives a Villain menace and connive every combat, while Cool but Rude converts every discard into damage. The secondary plan is a graveyard mayhem package-Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, Moonstone, Containment Construct-that lets the deck replay discarded bombs. Norman is effectively a hidden commander: its back face gives all nonlands mayhem and reduces graveyard spell costs. The deck wins by grinding with drain triggers, then either activating M.O.D.O.K. repeatedly or crashing a hasted Villain board with Squadron Sinister and Living Laser. No infinite combo is present.
