Commander: Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet deck uses Ashling, Rimebound as a ritual engine to power a spellslinger value plan. You flip Ashling to add two mana each first main phase for spells that cost four or more, then chain instants and sorceries through cost reducers and copy effects. Damage comes from pingers like Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe, and from tokens made by Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, Shark Typhoon, Ovika and Rite of the Dragoncaller. Copy enchantments such as Thousand-Year Storm, Double Vision and Chandra, Hope's Beacon multiply big sorceries like Aminatou's Augury, Expropriate and Mnemonic Deluge. Extra turns from Expropriate and Temporal Trespass extend storm turns. There is no infinite combo; you win by incremental damage and combat after a long setup.
