Deck overview

This Simic deck centers on The Astonishing Ant-Man, converting card draw into +1/+1 counters and converting those counters into 1/1 Insect tokens. Deployed on Turn 2, the commander grows rapidly as cantrips, multi-draw spells, and combat triggers cycle through the library. By Turn 4, the deck activates Ant-Man to generate an expanding swarm of Insects. Coastal combat engines like Coastal Piracy and Enduring Curiosity turn every connecting token into additional card draw, creating a compounding loop of cards, counters, and creatures. The deck looks to close out games around Turns 7 and 8 by overwhelming opponents with wide combat waves, boosted by Triumph of the Hordes, Growth Curve, or Shamanic Revelation. While the engine generates immense card volume, it relies heavily on creature survival and features light interaction and protection against mass removal.
