Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima to turn combat-damage triggers into overwhelming card advantage and rapid player eliminations. By attacking with a lone creature, Jin Sakai grants either unblockability or double strike, turning saboteurs like Psychic Frog, Buster Sword, and Unstoppable Slasher into potent threats. The deck scales into the midgame using life-halving effects such as Quietus Spike, Scytheclaw, and Grievous Wound, which drop opponents into single digits or eliminate them outright when paired with Wound Reflection or Astarion, the Decadent. A dense suite of premium interaction—including Fierce Guardianship, Dovin's Veto, Swords to Plowshares, and Void Rend—protects the commander while disrupting opposing game plans. With secondary enablers like Kamiz, Obscura Oculus and defensive anchors like The Wandering Rescuer, the deck maintains steady pressure across turn cycles.
