Commander: Urza, Lord Protector

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Azorius artifact-value deck built around the meld pair Urza, Lord Protector and The Mightstone and Weakstone. The front face discounts artifacts, instants, and sorceries, letting the deck accelerate into a turn 5-ish meld into Urza, Planeswalker, whose card advantage fuels a wide artifact board. Supporting lines include artifact tutoring via Repurposing Bay and Scour for Scrap, token generation from Simulacrum Synthesizer and Stridehangar Automaton, and finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener, Ugin, Eye of the Storms, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Master of Etherium. It is a fair, non-combo deck that wins by converting discounting and artifact density into flying/indestructible combat damage, typically around turn eight or nine.
