Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Veyran, Voice of Duality aims to chain instants and sorceries, leveraging magecraft triggers for card draw, treasure generation, and damage. Veyran's doubling effect turns every triggered ability into a multiplicative engine, amplifying draw from Archmage Emeritus, treasures from Storm-Kiln Artist, and pings from Guttersnipe or Thunderdrum Soloist. The primary win path is cumulative burn via copied spells and Aetherflux Reservoir, with token backup from Zaffai, Thunder Conductor and Cyberdrive Awakener. A small combo layer-including mana loops and infinite recursion-provides alternative finishes. The deck relies on cost reducers and rituals to chain spells rapidly, but its low tutor density and lack of board wipes create exploitable gaps.
