Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck maximizes power-to-mana efficiency to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as turn 4 for just two green mana. Built around undercosted high-stat creatures such as Gigantosaurus, Steel Leaf Champion, and Pugnacious Hammerskull, the deck rapidly scales total battlefield power. This immense board presence fuels devastating card-draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Rishkar's Expertise, which regularly draw 6 to 12 cards in a single burst. With Ghalta on the battlefield, the deck transitions into lethal combat pressure via trample enablers, Unnatural Growth, and Overwhelming Stampede, closing out games within two combat rotations. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacking stack-based interaction, the deck maintains high resilience through efficient redundant threats, commander independence, and instant-speed protective spells.
