Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red combat engine built around Etali, Primal Storm. The primary game plan accelerates mana through low-cost rocks and rituals, establishes a haste enabler, and casts Etali on turn 4 or 5. Upon attacking, Etali's ability exiles the top card of every player's library and casts all revealed nonland spells without paying their mana costs, creating immense board advantage and card velocity. The deck converts this momentum into a table kill by chaining multiple combat phases through cards like Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Relentless Assault, while punishing opponents with exile-cast damage triggers from Passionate Archaeologist and Keeper of Secrets. Disruptive pieces like Blood Moon and Price of Glory hinder opposing counterplay and nonbasic lands. The deck operates with strong linear redundancy, though it remains vulnerable to targeted removal during the window before Etali can declare its first attack.
