Deck overview

This mono-green deck focuses on overwhelming opponents through a wide swarm of creature tokens amplified by overrun finishers. Commanded by Jiang Yanggu, Never Alone, the deck generates immediate board presence with Mowu while granting all tokens vigilance-like utility by untapping them during the end step. This untap synergy pairs effectively with mana engines such as Cryptolith Rite, Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, and Enduring Vitality, allowing tokens to produce mana on your turn and remain ready as blockers or mana sources on opposing turns. Doubling effects like Parallel Lives and Doubling Season accelerate army growth into massive token creators like Avenger of Zendikar and Tendershoot Dryad. The deck closes games decisively on turn 6 by resolving devastating mass pump spells, primarily Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Beastmaster Ascension. While vulnerable to mass exile and bounce spells, its deep redundancy and rapid recovery make it a resilient combat powerhouse.
