Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Vihaan, Goldwaker to transform everyday Treasure tokens into an aggressive army of 3/3 Construct Assassin creatures equipped with vigilance and haste. The game plan focuses on deploying early Treasure engines such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Black Market Connections, Grim Hireling, and Professional Face-Breaker to establish a massive hoard of artifact tokens. Once Vihaan hits the battlefield, every Treasure becomes a dual-purpose asset: an immediate, vigilant attacker that can still be tapped or sacrificed for mana post-combat. The deck accelerates into lethal table pressure using pump effects like Shared Animosity and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, or massive generators like Ancient Copper Dragon. Alternate win conditions like Revel in Riches and Hellkite Tyrant offer non-combat routes to victory. While the deck boasts immense mana flexibility and explosive combat bursts, its primary vulnerabilities lie in a low density of instant-speed interaction and susceptibility to mass artifact wipe effects.
