Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck is commanded by Brenard, Ginger Sculptor, transforming traditional Phyrexian Splicers and artifact creatures into a resilient, trampling Food Golem swarm. The primary plan accelerates through ten 1-2 CMC ramp pieces to deploy Brenard on Turn 4, quickly followed by massive token payoffs such as Darksteel Splicer, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation // Temple of Civilization, or Anointed Procession on Turn 5. Brenard's static +2/+2 and trample anthem turns modest 3/3 Golem tokens into 5/5 threats, while his death trigger recycles nontoken creatures into 3/3 trampling Food Golems, providing built-in insurance against destroy effects. Supported by robust card engines like Elemental Bond and Caretaker's Talent, alongside top-tier defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver, the deck applies overwhelming combat pressure to eliminate opponents across Turns 6 and 7.
