Deck overview

This deck uses Zimone, Mystery Unraveler to turn the Simic landfall mechanic into a mana-cheating engine. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost ramp spells and land tutors. Once Zimone is deployed, triggering landfall twice in a single turn allows you to manifest dread with the first trigger and immediately turn that face-down card face up with the second. This bypasses hefty mana costs to cheat game-ending permanents into play, including Blightsteel Colossus, Void Winnower, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, and Dark Depths. A dense suite of fetchlands and graveyard recursion ensures consistent double-landfall triggers every turn. The deck finishes games by eliminating opponents with overwhelming combat damage, lethal infect, or token swarms backed by Cyclonic Rift.
