Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Superfriends Control strategy led by Commodore Guff. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana rocks into Commodore Guff on Turn 3, using his +1 ability to produce Wizard tokens that accelerate further planeswalker deployment. The deck establishes a defensive perimeter using pillowfort elements like Pramikon, Sky Rampart, Silent Arbiter, and Norn's Annex, while utilizing board sweepers such as Blasphemous Act and Promise of Loyalty to keep opposing creature boards clear. As planeswalkers accumulate loyalty and proliferate via Flux Channeler, Ichormoon Gauntlet, and Contagion Clasp, the deck transitions into a win condition around Turn 6. It closes the game by leveraging Commodore Guff and Chandra, Legacy of Fire for multi-target burn, animating planeswalkers into 4/4 flying Dragons with Sarkhan the Masterless, or casting asymmetric mass land destruction spells like Obliterate and Jokulhaups to leave opponents resource-starved while planeswalkers close out the match.
