cloud with swords by user2552828

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, a haste-enabled commander whose attack trigger draws a card for each equipped creature you control and creates two Treasure tokens when its power is 7 or greater. The primary game plan is to cast Cloud early, suit him with a high-impact Equipment such as Colossus Hammer or one of the ten Swords, then chain extra combat steps via Tifa, Martial Artist and Genji Glove to overwhelm opponents with commander damage or spread damage with Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The deck packs over 20 Equipment, a dense tutor package to find them, and a suite of protection spells to keep Cloud on the board. It does not run infinite combos, relying instead on explosive combat turns to close out the game.
