Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Sea Monster Stompy strategy commanded by Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep. The deck accelerates mana in the early turns through land ramp spells and mana rocks, establishing a strong resource base to cast Kiora on Turn 4. Once Kiora is on the battlefield, casting high-cost Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents triggers her ability to look at the top cards of the library and cast a second impactful spell for free. This creates massive board presence and overwhelming tempo advantage. The deck transitions into lethal combat through asymmetric board wipes like Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets, evasive enablers like Serpent of Yawning Depths, and overrun finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Triumph of the Hordes. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention and free countermagic safeguard the large creatures, while standalone threats such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent and Hullbreaker Horror ensure continuous pressure even if Kiora is disrupted.
