Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck pairs Ellyn Harbreeze, Busybody with the Background Guild Artisan to create a self-sustaining engine of mana and card advantage. By attacking the opponent with the highest life total, Ellyn triggers Guild Artisan to create two Treasure tokens, which in turn fuels Ellyn's tap ability to dig through the library for key cards. The deck leverages token generation across Treasures, Goats, Soldiers, and Clues to go wide, before closing games through powerful combat overruns such as Baldin, Century Herdmaster, Rasaad yn Bashir, True Conviction, and Legion Loyalty. While the engine provides consistent card selection and mid-game mana velocity, the deck is constrained by a lack of instant-speed spot removal, relying instead on heavy sorcery-speed board wipes. Its combat-centric path to victory is vulnerable to sweepers and interaction across multi-turn rotations, requiring careful timing with protective tools like Clever Concealment and Reconnaissance.
