Format: Commander

Commander: Balin, Loremaster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Balin, Loremaster leads a mono-red Dwarf-tribal discard deck that turns hand size into burst damage. The primary plan is to establish Storied with artifact ramp and legendary permanents, then cast Dwarves-especially token-making Dwarven Reinforcements-to repeatedly discard and redraw while Balin burns all opponents. Secondary paths use Glint-Horn Buccaneer and pingers such as Guttersnipe and Agate Instigator, amplified by damage doublers like Furnace of Rath and Fiery Emancipation. Magda, Brazen Outlaw hides as an unbranded engine, generating Treasures and tutoring for artifacts or Dragons. The deck is not a fast aggro deck; it wants to survive until a single high-card-count turn can chain multiple Dwarf enters and kill the table.
