Kaalia Dragons v.2 by Baron_Buchanan

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast is the engine and win condition: the deck ramps to her on turn four, then each attack cheats an Angel, Demon, or Dragon into play tapped and attacking. A second, smaller cheat in Minion of the Mighty and card-advantage pieces such as Breaching Dragonstorm and Rune-Scarred Demon keep threats flowing. The main kill is a large combat swing fueled by multiple Kaalia triggers and extra-combat effects; Archfiend of Despair and Terror of the Peaks multiply the damage, while Pandemonium and Sarkhan the Mad provide noncombat reach. Interaction is almost entirely instant-speed spot removal, with no counterspells, so the strategy is proactive and pressure-based.
