Deck overview

Meatsqueak, Hoard Lord commands a mono-green token deck focused on synthesizing Squirrel tribal swarms with Food artifact generation. The deck generates resources through steady land ramp and incremental token creators such as Peregrin Took, Gilded Goose, and Squirrel Nest. As creatures trade off in combat, Meatsqueak converts deaths into Food tokens. Once the board accumulates seven Foods, Meatsqueak grants a static +3/+3 boost to all Squirrels, turning 1/1 tokens into significant combat threats. Card advantage is fueled by engine pieces like Trail of Crumbs, Symmetry Matrix, and Garruk's Uprising, which sustain development without dedicated tutors. The win condition centers on combat overruns using Meatsqueak's anthem, Night of the Sweets' Revenge, or converting accumulated tokens into a Centaur swarm via Rampage of the Clans. While the deck excels at generating wide boards and incremental value, it lacks dedicated protection spells and relies on natural draws to assemble its decisive payoffs.
