Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Partner Voltron deck helmed by Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The core strategy is to make Ishai enormous through +1/+1 counters and combat tricks, then multiply its damage across the table via Kediss's triggered ability. The deck runs a blistering low curve (average MV 2.19) and a dense suite of instant-speed protection and counterspells, allowing it to aggressively protect its commander while racing toward a one-shot kill. The primary win condition is a single double-strike attack from a beefed-up Ishai-boosted by auras like All That Glitters or equipment like Tarrian's Soulcleaver-with Kediss spreading that damage to each opponent. Backup plans include Kykar, Wind's Fury grinding value, Akiri, Fearless Voyager drawing cards on attacks, and Sunforger tutoring for key answers.
