Aw Rats by BiggestBird69

Format: Commander

Commander: Marrow-Gnawer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Mono-Black Rat tribal swarm deck helmed by Marrow-Gnawer, built to flood the battlefield with rat tokens and rat creatures, pump them with anthem effects, and overwhelm opponents through sheer combat damage. The commander provides fear evasion to all rats and an activated ability that exponentially multiplies the swarm by sacrificing one rat to create a number of tokens equal to the total rats you control. The deck's primary win condition is combat with a critical mass of rats boosted by Coat of Arms, Door of Destinies, Vanquisher's Banner, and Obelisk of Urd. Secondary lines include Thrumming Stone ripple chains with 7x Rat Colony, Throne of the God-Pharaoh drain, and Gruesome Fate as a finisher. The deck also packs recursion through Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, Rat King, Verminister, and The Soul Stone.
