Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya Equipment deck is helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, a haste commander that turns every attack into a card-draw and treasure-printing engine once his power hits 7+. The plan is straightforward: deploy Cloud early, suit him up with the best Equipment from a dense tutor suite, and chain extra combat steps into overwhelming damage. The deck piles on redundant equipment tutors (Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, Fighter Class) and draw engines that loop off equipment ETBs and combat triggers. Secondary win conditions like Godo, Bandit Warlord and Tifa, Martial Artist provide free additional combats, while Akroma's Will and Teferi's Protection shield the kill turn. The 99 also contains Cloud, Midgar Mercenary as a value piece that doubles equipment triggers, further accelerating the clock.
