Deck overview

This deck executes a Dimir spellslinger strategy centered on Lord of the Nazgûl. By casting low-cost cantrips, counterspells, and removal, it continually generates 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace while advancing its own card flow. The inclusion of nine Nazgûl cards accelerates this pressure by placing +1/+1 counters on all Wraiths whenever the Ring tempts you. Efficient card engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Rhystic Study, and The One Ring ensure a steady stream of resources. The deck protects its engine using free and one-mana countermagic along with defensive equipment. It converts this board presence into a decisive victory around Turn 7 by deploying one-sided sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Cyclonic Rift, allowing a lethal swarm of 9/9 or heavily buffed menace Wraiths to attack without effective resistance.
