Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos artifact engine commanded by Imskir Iron-Eater. The game plan revolves around rapidly developing artifact counts using artifact lands, low-cost mana rocks, and self-replacing artifacts like Ichor Wellspring and Prized Statue. Once an artifact threshold is reached, affinity drastically reduces the casting cost of Imskir Iron-Eater, allowing it to enter early and refill your hand based on your artifact count. From this resource surplus, the deck leverages high-mana-value artifacts such as Metalwork Colossus, Portal to Phyrexia, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden to dominate the board. Win conditions involve repeatedly sacrificing these high-mana-value permanents to Imskir Iron-Eater or Ayara, Widow of the Realm for massive chunks of direct burn, supplemented by graveyard recursion from Goblin Welder, Daretti, Scrap Savant, and Trash for Treasure. While the deck excels at resource generation and board attrition, it lacks stack protection and instant-speed reactive interaction.
