Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Dimir control and aristocrats attrition build designed around Toxrill, the Corrosive. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early artifact ramp to cast Toxrill by Turn 5. Once on the battlefield, Toxrill places slime counters on all opposing creatures at the beginning of each end step. Across a single table rotation, this imposes -4/-4 across all opposing boards, killing utility creatures, commanders, and mana dorks while generating 1/1 Slug tokens. The deck converts these dying creatures and Slugs into immense card draw and life drain using aristocrat payoffs like Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, Dreadhound, and Syr Konrad, the Grim. Base-stat reducers such as Sludge Monster, Sudden Spoiling, and Asinine Antics ensure even large opposing threats die immediately to slime counters. The deck wins on Turn 8 through a combination of commander combat damage, Slug token attacks, and relentless drain triggers.
