Shalai by Anubi

Format: Commander

Commander: Shalai and Hallar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is built around Shalai and Hallar, using the commander as a direct-damage engine that turns every +1/+1 counter event into burn. Counter-doubling permanents make small counter sources explosive, while All Will Be One doubles as a second damage payoff and Gratuitous Violence doubles damage from creatures. Bristly Bill, Spine Sower and Kalonian Hydra create exponential counter jumps, and Bello, Bard of the Brambles functions as a hidden secondary commander by turning expensive artifacts/enchantments into hasty indestructible draw threats. The backup plan is trampling hydra combat plus modular artifact beats, with The Ozolith preserving counters through removal.
