Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai aggressive combat deck commanded by Aragorn, King of Gondor. The primary strategy focuses on deploying an army of Human and Soldier tokens in the early game, introducing the Monarch mechanic via Aragorn on Turn 4, and unleashing unblockable alpha strikes on Turn 5 and beyond. Because Aragorn grants total unblockability to your entire attacking force whenever you attack as the Monarch, opposing blockers are completely bypassed. The deck supports this aggressive clock with robust pillowfort deterrents such as Windborn Muse and Champions of Minas Tirith to defend the crown from crackbacks, while running a comprehensive suite of anti-board-wipe protection including Flawless Maneuver, Boromir, Warden of the Tower, and Selfless Spirit. Operating without infinite combos or high-velocity tutors, the deck relies on dense functional redundancy, steady card draw from the Monarch, and persistent combat pressure to eliminate the table by Turn 7.
