Deck overview

This is an Azorius "group hug / draw-go control" deck helmed by Kwain, Itinerant Meddler. The deck uses symmetric draw to trigger a web of payoff cards: Smothering Tithe creates Treasures, The Council of Four and King T'Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring convert opponent draw steps into your own cards, while Alhammarret's Archive, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and The Wind Crystal double both draw volume and life gain. Defense comes from a pillowfort of Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Norn's Annex, Baird, Steward of Argive, and Windborn Muse, buying time until an expensive finisher resolves. The primary wins are Felidar Sovereign at 40 life, a doubled Approach of the Second Sun, and a late-game Laboratory Maniac / Jace, Wielder of Mysteries draw-out, with token combat and Sphinx's Tutelage mill as incidental backup. It is a deliberate, controlling deck that wins by out-drawing and out-lasting rather than by fast combo.
