Warp Maxxing (Abaddon the Despoiler) by leftlegcemetery

Format: Commander

Commander: Abaddon the Despoiler

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grixis pain-and-cascade deck built around Abaddon the Despoiler. The primary plan is to use symmetrical life-loss engines such as Descent into Avernus, Stormfist Crusader, and Court of Ambition to raise Abaddon's cascade threshold, then chain spells from exile with Prosper, Nalfeshnee, and Keeper of Secrets. Prosper acts as a hidden secondary commander, generating Treasures and card flow from each cascade. Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles that pain, turning Gray Merchant and Descent into finishers; Sower of Discord spreads damage to a second opponent. Without Abaddon the deck still functions as a midrange demon/life-drain pile, but the cascade plan loses most of its teeth.
