Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Vampire and impulse-theft engine commanded by Evelyn, the Covetous. It focuses on generating massive card advantage by copying Evelyn and triggering her ability repeatedly. Every Vampire that enters the battlefield exiles the top card of every player's library with a collection counter. Non-legendary clone effects like Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication allow multiple Evelyns to exist simultaneously, exponentially multiplying exile triggers and enabling multiple stolen spells to be cast each turn cycle. Payoffs like Brainstealer Dragon, Passionate Archaeologist, and Don Andres, the Renegade convert stolen cards into direct life drain, treasure generation, and heavy board presence. The deck maintains moderate ramp and efficient spot removal, assembling its engine on Turn 5 and reaching a critical must-answer board state by Turn 7. Without infinite combos, it steadily drains the table and overwhelms opponents with their own spells, closing games around Turn 9.
