Deck overview

This mono-red storm deck leverages Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might to convert minor noncombat ping damage into lethal bursts. By replacing any red source's noncombat damage with Axonil's power (base 4), every 1-damage trigger from pingers like Firebrand Archer or low-cost group spells like End the Festivities hits each opponent for 4 damage. The deck accelerates into Axonil by Turn 3 using efficient fast mana and rituals, then storms off on Turn 4 with chainable spells, impulse card draw, and Underworld Breach. Card advantage engines like Virtue of Courage exile vast portions of the library upon dealing damage, creating self-sustaining storm loops. When the commander is unavailable, the deck pivots smoothly to an infinite hasty creature combo with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame or damage doubling with Solphim, Mayhem Dominus.
