Deck overview

This five-color deck is led by Thanos, the Mad Titan and focuses on a Villain typal strategy blending token swarm, connive card selection, and aristocrat drain effects. The deck develops early mana with efficient 2-CMC ramp pieces, establishing board engines like Madame Hydra, Ultron, Unlimited, and Black Market Connections by Turn 4. It leverages continuous token generation and card filtering to assemble a wide board of Villain creatures. On Turn 6, the deck shifts into lethal pressure using mass evasion and haste enablers like The Squadron Sinister, asymmetric board wipes via Thanos's odd/even Power-up ability, or one-sided bounce with Raise the Palisade. When combat is obstructed, aristocrat payoffs such as Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat translate creature deaths into direct table-wide life drain. The deck features flexible reactive removal and counterspells, while maintaining independence from its commander for core engine execution.
