Deck overview

This Selesnya deck combines an aggressive Voltron combat strategy with an efficient blink card-advantage engine, utilizing Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Far Traveler as partner commanders. Wilson serves as the primary threat, boasting an exceptional suite of innate keywords: uncounterable casting, vigilance, trample, reach, and Ward {2}. Far Traveler provides repeatable card draw and tutoring by flickering tapped enter-the-battlefield creatures—such as Spirited Companion, Elvish Visionary, and Heliod's Pilgrim—at each end step using tap-enablers like Springleaf Drum and Jaspera Sentinel. Once the engine is active, the deck tutors and attaches massive scaling Auras including Ancestral Mask, All That Glitters, and Ethereal Armor to Wilson. Supported by efficient 1-mana protection spells like Tamiyo's Safekeeping and versatile enchantment removal like Banishing Light, Wilson deals lethal commander damage to eliminate opponents one by one while keeping hand size full.
