Deck overview

This mono-white Superfriends deck centers on Djeru, With Eyes Open, using his enter-the-battlefield ability to tutor out key incarnations of Elspeth, primarily Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Elspeth, Storm Slayer. The deck establishes an early defensive posture with pillowfort taxes like Baird, Steward of Argive and Sphere of Safety while building a large infantry of Soldier and Angel creature tokens. Card advantage is driven by token-triggered engines such as Welcoming Vampire, Tocasia's Welcome, and Bennie Bracks, Zoologist. Once a wide token board is secured, the deck pivots into lethal combat through anthem effects, planeswalker ultimates, and mass evasion enablers like The Wind Crystal and Cathars' Crusade. The deck's deliberate, permanent-heavy game plan makes it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers, but high-impact recovery sorceries like Triumphant Reckoning give it staying power in prolonged multiplayer battles.
